The first output of the Project is the book entitled “AB Kültürel Miras Mevzuatı ve Türkiye Projesi” “(EU Cultural Heritage Legislation and Turkey Project)” printed in 2 Volumes and 1000 copies (approximately 800 pages)
The first volume of that book includes the Turkish translations of all the EU legislations of “Culture” that was published until September 24, 2007 and still in force on the web site (http://europa.eu.int/eur-lex/lex/en/repert/1640.htm), The second volume of that book includes in the Turkish translations of the other international legislations published by UNESCO; COE, ICOM, ICOMOS…etc. about the cultural heritage.
The second output of the Project is this web page. (http://www.kumid.eu) This web page includes in the Turkish translations of all EU and other international legislations published by UNESCO, COE, ICOM, ICOMOS… (approximately 2000 pages)
It should also be noted to the concern of the researchers that the documents in question should not be appreciated as official translations.
Therefore in order to be able to have an access to the English original of the documents in case of any dispute, following the each Turkish title of the legislation, the original English title of the document is also given.
During the translations process, it was carefully aimed to use authentic Turkish words in the translations rather than foreign words in the texts.
You can also search the legislations in this file by Turkish keywords or dates in this web page.
